Using NiGEMWEB
Viewing a Variable
Review the Data available for a NiGEM model variable by either entering the variable name directly or searching for the variable name using one of the following
Search by countrySelect the search by country option to display the current list of countries covered in NiGEMWEB. Once a country is selected, the variables available for viewing in that country will be displayed both alphabetically and by sector
Search by sectorSelect the search by sector option to display the current list of sectors covered in NiGEMWEB diovided into their major groups. Once a secotr is selected, the variables available for viewing from all countries containing that sector will be displayed alphabetically by country
Search by variable descriptionEntering text into this box will search the variable descriptions for any occurance of this text and then display all variables matching the search criteria
Once a variable has been chosen, you can graph, list or review the data source for this variable. In addition, the format for how this variable is displayed can be chosen from the options available as well as the modifying the date range over which to display
Import-Export
NiGEMWEB data can be exported both in Excel format or a separate webpage containing the data selected can be created and displayed. Variables can be added individually, by country, by sector or from a pre-created list of variables provided by the user. Your export list can be reviewed and modified at any point.
In addition, the date range to export and the format of the variables to be exported can be set
Data Options
NiGEMWEB data is available from three types of data source
Forecast Files: Provides access to data from our most recent NiGEM forecasts
Scenarios: Provides access to data from several standard economic scenarios run under NiGEM
Stochastic output: Provides access to stochastic bounds created using the NiGEM software around our latest forecast
